advances in clinical neuroscience
the project
Advances in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation (ACNR) is a bi-monthly scientific and medical journal produced by experts in the field of neurology. Its aim is to report on the latest advances in neurology and neuroscience and to explain how significant scientific breakthroughs could affect future clinical practice. The journal has been in production since March 2001 and the website was designed by fourfiveone as an online archive of current and past issues.
The website was runner-up (to The List) in the 2003 Scottish Magazine Awards for Publishing Excellence and received a Highly Commended award for Best Online Presence.
The website contains pdf versions of every article and every issue published to date. Each issue contains book reviews, conference reports, neuroanatomy primers, summaries of neuroscientific topics of clinical interest, and reviews of the major neurological journals. The website uses dynamic HTML drop-down menus as navigational tools, an automated e-newsletter subscription service, and an online quiz.
View the live ACNR website here: www.acnr.com.
